Healthy habits during quarantine

Our students from 3rd year of ESO have been quite busy these days of quarantine researching on how to have a healthy lifestyle. They have been working on a project which has led them to reflect on how healthy their lifestyle is, and what they can do to make it healthier. Practicing healthy habits from an early age is important if you want to live a long life full of energy and vitality. With this project, they are learning what healthy habits are, and examining if they practice them. They are learning how to lead a healthy active lifestyle on a daily basis. They are also learning about food groups, exercise, sleeping habits and personal hygiene. 



After three weeks of researching, which ended up in their creating a presentation about different topics related to healthy lifestyle, their final task has been to record a video explaining all their work up until then. Once they have finished the videos, they have evaluated other groups' work. The first three groups have been awarded a gold, silver and bronze medal. The fourth and fifth have got a certificate. They have worked really hard to get their prize. Congratulations to the winners!


With the publishing of the awards, our project has come to an end. It's been four weeks of hard work, but we are sure it's been worth it, since we have all learned a lot about healthy life habits, and some of you have mentioned in your different tasks that you were changing some of your unhealthy habits thanks to this project. That was the idea. We hope that you have all learned English vocabulary as well, while practicing the communicative skills.


The school year is coming to an end. After all this long time of lockdown, all the students deserve some rest during the summer. Enjoy it as much as you can and, of course, be responsible and take care!
